Terms & Conditions

The Charged Up Vegas! program is not a sweepstakes. Charged Up Vegas! is a performance-based rewards program. Participation is strictly limited to enrolled travel agents who meet all criteria set forth by the sponsor, Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority and the administrator, Questex Media LLC.

General
  • All submissions must be entered through the on-line booking tracker at http://www.ChargedUpVegas.com. Submissions by mail, fax, e-mail or other means are not acceptable and cannot be returned or acknowledged.
  • All travel must be completed between December 1, 2010 and February 28, 2011.
  • Bookings must be entered no later than 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on December 31, 2010.
  • Eligible charges include air and ground transportation to/from/within Las Vegas, accommodations within Las Vegas, meals, entertainment and activities in or from Las Vegas that are prebooked and prepaid by the travel agent - such as shows, sightseeing, etc.


Award Levels
  • First: The top travel agent, based on the total dollar value of consumed travel, accommodations and related travel services/entertainment receives an American Express gift card in the amount of US $5,000.
  • Second: The next travel agent based on the total dollar value of consumed travel, accommodations and related travel services/entertainment receives an American Express gift card in the amount of US $2,500.
  • Third: The next five (5) travel agents based on the total dollar value of consumed travel, accommodations and related travel services/entertainment charged to any American Express Card receive an American Express gift card in the amount of US $500.
  • Total Awards: There are a total of 7 awards with a total value of US $10,000.


Participation

Participation in the Charged Up Vegas! program is open to all U.S. and Canadian travel agencies and agents operating under a current and legitimate ARC/IATA or CLIA number. Winners must be at least 18 years of age and legal residents of the U.S. or Canada. Winning agents are responsible for all federal, state and local taxes on any awards received. Enrollment is required and is the sole responsibility of participating agents. Agencies may not combine bookings of multiple agents into an individual agent account. The sponsor reserves the right at any time at their absolute discretion to refuse or revoke membership in the program for any reason. It is the sole responsibility of participating agents to confirm receipt of program bookings. In the event of ties for any award, the agent whose bookings are entered first will earn the award.

Responsibility

Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority, Travel Agent Magazine and Questex Media LLC are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected or incomplete entries, interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections or mis-communications. Travel Agent Magazine and Questex Media LLC are not responsible or liable for the verification of information, the distribution of prizes, nor any portion of their value. Travel Agent Magazine and Questex Media LLC are not responsible for creation or enforcement of Terms and Conditions that govern the Charged Up Vegas! program. All rules and policies past, present and future are set forth and disseminated at the sole discretion of sponsors and administrators. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Other conditions may apply. Participants agree to the above terms and conditions and accept the decisions of the sponsors as final. Any persons providing false information forfeit all awards and prizes associated with program, and may risk prosecution under applicable law. Rules are subject to change without notice.
